KIDS SEE GHOSTS

Kanye West, the most controversial artist of our generation, delivered a masterpiece with Kid Cudi in their self titled group album KIDS SEE GHOSTS. This album features only 7 songs, but those 7 songs deliver a unique, quality sound that can’t be ignored.

Usually, albums consist of 10 songs or more, but Kanye has made a new small album trend, where there are only 7 songs, but that they are all quality. He has done this for his most recent album, Nas’ most recent album Nasir, and for Teyana Taylor with KTSE.

KIDS SEE GHOSTS is a music duo that consists of Kanye West and Kid Cudi, which is an insane combination of skill, talent, and flow. On the first track, “Feel the Love” Pusha T joins them to make a vibrant, contrasting track, first starting off with a stone cold verse from Pusha T, and then transitioning into Kid Cudi going off into a huge, loud chant, that will get you out of your seat and get you going.

The next track, “Fire”, is to all the haters, asking for heaven to lift them up above the haters. This track gears more toward Kid Cudi because of his previous endeavors in music, like his experimental rock phase, which was not to enjoyable for everybody. But in this album, he bounced back and provided some premium music. The next track, “4th Dimension”, could potentially be the best track on the whole album. The lyricism and the wordplay on this song is absolutely insane.
